So first impressions of the rack on the back of the CR-V, I think it's a good fit. It looks awesome. Thule makes really nice products, have a timeless design, very user friendly, and a platform-style rack you really can't go wrong with. This particular one is gonna be capable of holding up to two bikes, and the way it's gonna do it is with a tire hook here. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have a Saris SuperClamp EX two-bike rack. We're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2020 Honda Pilot, and we'll talk about its different features and help you decide if this is gonna be the right bike rack for you. This does have some different features like a great weight capacity of 60 pounds for your electric bikes. It's technically a dual wheel mount rack and it has straps, so whether you have any type of frame or even if you have fenders, this can technically work for them. So there's a lot of versatility to this rack, but the first feature we'll take a look at is gonna be our tilt away feature. There's a large lever here at the end. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the RockyMounts AfterParty 2 Bikes Swing Away bike rack, and we're gonna take a look at how this fits our 2020 Honda Pilot. This bike rack is especially helpful because it swings away for full hatch access. Plus you also have the fun features of this being a dual wheel mounted bike rack and a good weight capacity for heavy electric bikes. What we're gonna do is we're going to loosen the lever down here. So this lever is pretty much loosened so I'm just gonna rotate this until it's completely out. And then in the back there's that knob. more

Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack Review - 2023 Honda Passport- Video
Hey, everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 on our 2023 Honda Passport. Our bike rack is going to be a platform style bike rack being able to hold up to two bikes individually. They can be up to 60 pounds each, which means our heavier e-bikes are going to be an option here. Notice also that we are not making any frame contact, which means that our carbon frame bikes as well as the alternative frame bikes are going to be an option for this too. We make two main points of contact, which is going to be on our back tire, which is just a rubber strap and a hook here on our front. more

Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Bike Rack Review - 2023 Honda Passport- Video
Hey everybody, Cooper here at Etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination 4 on our 2023 Honda Passport. What we have here is going to be a platform style bike rack able to accommodate up to four bikes. Each individually rate rated at 35 pounds each. Which means unfortunately that our heavier e-bikes are not going to be an option when using this rack. That being said, we do make three points of contact on our bike, two being the front and back tire. more

Thule Epos 3 Bike Rack Review - 2022 Honda CR-V- Video
Hi, Matt here with etrailer. And today, we're gonna be talking about the Thule Epos 3-Bike Rack on the back of the 2022 Honda CR-V. This is gonna be a versatile platform bike rack. As you can see here, it's capable of carrying carbon frame bikes. On the back tire, it has a strap instead of being on the frame itself, but this center mast is also capable of sliding over to the frame and being attached anywhere, so it's great for mountain bikes as well. It can also carry about 66 pounds per bike, so that's gonna be great for any of your e-bikes, for anything super heavy. more

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima FullTilt hanging style bike rack and seeing how it fits on this 2023 Honda CR-V. With this being a hanging style rack, it's gonna hold the bike by the frame with the rest of the bike kind of hanging down below it. That's where it gets its name. This one holds it in place with two zip strips up top. That's gonna be the straps that ratchet in and hold it down into the cradles with the third one on the seat post limiting our side to side movement. more

RockyMounts GuideRail Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2023 Honda CR-V- Video
Cooper here at etrailer and today we're gonna be taking a look at our RockyMounts GuideRail on our 2023 Honda CR-V. Our bike rack is going to be a two-platform style bike rack, individually rated for 60 pounds each, meaning that our e-bikes are going to fit on it. As well as you can tell, there is no frame contact, which means that our carbon frame bikes, as well as our alternative frame bikes, are going to fit very well onto this rack. One of the really cool features about the GuideRail is it actually has a tilt-away feature. So holding onto our blue lever here, just holding onto our bike for a little extra security, we are able to tilt this away, allowing us access into our trunk. So that way we have our bike shoes back here, our helmets, maybe a water bottle or something. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima On-Ramp, hitch-bounded bike rack, and seeing how it fits in the back of our 2023 Honda CR-V. The On-Ramp is a platform style bike rack and this one holds the bike in trays. You can slide the bikes back and forth anywhere along these trays so long as the wheel straps reach the wheels and our frame clamp here can wrap around the frame. It's gonna be really more of a cradle with a strap around it than a clamp. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here at the etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro Hanging-Style Bike Rack, and seeing how it fits on our 2023 Honda CR-V. With this being a Hanging-Style Bike Rack, that does present some limitations. This isn't gonna be the best fit for carbon frame bikes because hanging by the frame here isn't good for those more fragile frames. This one holds it in these cradles with two straps over the top, and one around the side to limit our side-to-side movement, acting as an anti-sway cradle. more

Swagman Skaha 2 Electric Bikes Rack Review - 2023 Honda CR-V- Video
Hi, everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Swagman Skaha 2-Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on our 2023 Honda CR-V. The Skaha is a platform-style bike rack, holding up to two bikes in these wheel cradles and holding them primarily by our front tire using the wheel hook. Because it uses the wheel hook, we don't have any sort of frame contact here, making this a good option for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes, and with a 60 pound weight capacity per bike, it can handle some e-bikes too. At the bottom of the bike rack towards the front end here, there's gonna be a green lever. This is what we can use to tilt the rack down, releasing the mechanism there, and lowering the rack down. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Swagman E-SPEC platform-style bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Honda CR-V. This platform-style rack holds the bike in two sets of wheel cradles that are adjustable on these arms, front to back, allowing us to fit a variety of different wheel bases. In addition to that, it's going to hold the bike by the frame with this frame hook up top. The frame hook will ratchet down over the center mast here and hold the bike in place. more

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Rocky Mounts MonoRail hitch mounted rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Honda CR-V. Now the Monorail is going to be a platform style bike rack. Platform means that it's going to sit on top of this tray in these wheel cradles and this one is going to be a really great value option in my opinion. It can hold up to 60 pounds per bike, two bikes each and it's going to have no frame contact holding the bike by the front tire here using this wheel hook and the back tire with a wheel strap. No frame contact makes this a great option for carbon frame bikes and alternative frame bikes making this a very versatile rack in terms of what bikes it can work with. more

Hi, everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination E bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Honda CR-V. The Destination E is a platform style bike rack, holding the bike in these trays and primarily by our frame using this frame clamp. This is gonna rotate 360 degrees, move around the mast on the back here, and allow us to meet the bike where it is, that makes it a great option for alternative frame bikes. And with this being an e-bike rack, it can support up to 70 pounds per bike, so some of our bigger e-bikes can fit on here. The one thing I would steer away from is carbon frame bikes, because frame contact already isn't good for the carbon frame, and especially a clamp like this where we're putting a lot of pressure around that frame. more

That's gonna mean there's zero frame contact on the bike, making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes, and with a 60 pound weight capacity per bike, you can get an e-bike on here too. There will be a second point of contact with the back tire in the form of a wheel strap. That's really just meant to hold that back tire down, keep it secured. more

Sport Rider SE is a two-bike platform style bike rack capable of supporting up to 80 pounds. It's going to hold onto our bike primarily with this frame hook here and two additional straps down at the bottom. So because it does make that frame contact, we don't recommend using this rack with carbon frame bikes 'cause it could potentially damage them while your driving. And alternative frame style bikes should work as long as the hooks contact. more

This is a hanging-style bike rack. It is going to be holding the bike primarily by the top of the frame and by this anti-sway clip in the back here. So if you do have carbon frame bikes, or alternative frame bikes, you might want, or you definitely don't wanna use carbon frame bikes, but if you have an alternative frame bike, you may need a bike adapter bar. This bike rack is capable of supporting 35 pounds per bike or 140 pounds total. more

So the OnRamp is a platform-style bike rack designed for those heavier E-bikes with a 66 pound capacity. So there's two different types of bike rack options on the market. We have the platform style, which was what this is and we have the hanging style. Now the hanging style are good, they're still good options. They're usually pretty lightweight, so they're easy to get on and off the vehicle, but one big downside to those is number one, they can't carry heavy bikes. more

The Yakima OnRamp is a popular bike rack because of the way it's designed pretty much around the ramp. The ramp is included and attached to the bike rack. Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, on our 2022 Honda Pilot, we're gonna be checking out the Swagman XC2 Platform Style Bike Rack. First impressions of the rack on the back of the Honda, really simple, not a whole lot to it. This is gonna be a great choice for those of you that are kind of just getting started or don't really go riding, you know, a whole lot. If you're someone that's out hitting the trails every weekend or a couple times a week, something like that, you know there's some other racks out there that'll probably be a better choice for you. I'm a big fan of the Kuat Platform Style Racks, just about any of them are really good, but that's not a takeaway from this. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2022 Honda Pilot- Video
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer, today on our 2022 Honda Pilot we're gonna be checking out the Thule Hitching Post Pro, Hitch Mount Bike Rack. First impression of the rack on the back of the Honda, I think it looks good, this Thule rack kinda has a timeless design if you ask me, so, you know, and honestly just about any type of accessory you put on the back of the pilot looks right at home, but this could be a great way to get a lot of bikes to and from the trails so this can hold up to a total of four. And one of the great things about it is it's super easy to use and figure out and live with, you know, personal I don't want anything overly complicated or difficult and that's not the case at all with this one. With that said though, the way it's going to hold your bike down, it's gonna use three straps, so you're gonna have two straps up here and then a strap down here, what that one's gonna help do is eliminate side to side movement, of way your bike aren't banging into each other as you're going down the road. Well, why don't we go ahead just take our bike off so we can have a better look at the rack. And just pull the iron on the straps. more

First impression of the rack on the back of the Honda I think it looks pretty good. Actually it's really simple and easy to use and this could be a great way to get a bunch of bikes to and from the trail. So this one can hold up to a total of four, but if you need to carry an additional one there's a five bike version of this rack available as well. So you got a couple options there. What's up everybody, it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out the CURT Premium 4-Bike Bike Rack on our 2022 Honda Odyssey. This is gonna be a hang-style bike rack that can handle up to four bikes so you can see they can sit just like that all along here. Now, this one's kind of unique because it's got tapered ends here. So not only is it gonna help with loading and unloading it's gonna help with kids bikes 'cause sometimes when it's spaced out like this on hang-style bike racks you have to get a bike adapter bar to make it work. So this is more in, so you won't have to get that. more

Now, this is gonna be a hang style bike rack, so you got the two arms here. The bike is gonna rest in these cradles. So, we don't recommend using carbon fire bikes on this 'cause that can wear and tear on that frame. And you don't want to damage anything like that. more

Curt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Honda Pilot- Video
Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the Curt 4 Bike Hanging Bike Rack on a 2021 Honda Pilot. Now the Honda Pilot is a great third row SUV and chances are, if you have a third row SUV, you have little kiddos that sit in those seats. So if you are a bike riding family, or just wanna take your bikes on the trail, or at the park occasionally, sometimes it's hard to transfer all of the bikes. Well that's where this one comes into play, allowing you to have up to four bikes, but also this nice tapered design is gonna make it a lot easier to put those kiddos bikes on the back here. more
